From the Shop Floor to the Fleet: Solideon’s Role in Trident Warrior 25

This summer, Solideon joined forces with the Naval Postgraduate School’s Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE), FLEETWERX, and more than two dozen partners from across government, military, academia, and industry for Trident Warrior 25, the U.S. Navy’s flagship Fleet experimentation exercise.
Our shared mission? To prove that advanced manufacturing can operate wherever the mission takes you, even across 8,000+ miles and two continents.
The Largest Distributed Manufacturing Demonstration in DoD History
At the heart of this exercise is the Joint Advanced Manufacturing Cell (JAMC): a mobile, forward-deployed manufacturing team that can produce mission-critical parts on demand using 3D printing, machining, and augmented reality.
The concept is as bold as it is necessary:
- Faster repairs. No waiting for parts to ship from a continent away.
- Reduced downtime. Keeping ships, planes, and equipment in the fight.
- Sustainment in contested environments. Manufacturing where supply chains can’t reach.
A Proof-of-Concept with Real-World Stakes
During the exercise, JAMC connected a network of assets and capabilities across the Pacific region. It was a live demonstration that distributed manufacturing can be executed securely, quickly, and effectively in maritime operations.
For the warfighter, this is efficiency, but it also means confidence. It means knowing that if something breaks in the field, there’s a solution nearby.
